Dark, aromatic well-balanced

Here the monastrell grape, which is excellent for blending, is combined with syrah to produce an excellent everyday red wine whose quality punches way above its modest price. In my experience, Bodegas Castano wines are beautifully made and this is no exception. We will return to this wine for its qualities as an accompaniment to red meat and cheese.

Value for money

Entry level wine but good value at this price level. Straightforward example that goes down well, with or without food.
