The white 2022 Valautín Albillo has a clean and expressive nose and shows contained ripeness and a moderate 13% alcohol, keeping very good freshness, reflected by the pH of 3.39. The vines are certified organic, but the wine doesn't carry the certification. It fermented and matured in 500- and 600-liter oak barrels, but there's no trace of oak aromas or flavors. It's quite impressive and fresh for the torrid year. 6,600 bottles produced. It was bottled in August 2023.

The village white 2019 Valautín Albillo from San Martín de Valdeiglesias comes from a number of vineyards, most of them old and on granite soils, from a very dry and warm vintage when they managed to contain the alcohol to 13.5%. The full clusters were pressed, and the juice fermented in used 300- and 500-liter oak barrels with indigenous yeasts and matured in the fermentation vessels for 12 months without racking or bâtonnage. This is a floral and fresh white with some spicy and herbal notes, expressive and a little wild. This is elegant and nuanced, fresher than the majority of Albillo Real, vibrant and complex, very young and with the complexity of the potpourri of vineyards used. 3,200 bottles were filled in July 2021.

A linen, lanolin, lemon-peel nose. Cashews and lime. Yin yang of bitterness and charm. Pressed-linen texture as well. Seems to expand across the mouth, broadening but not dominating, emphatic but not powerful. Restrained, rather.

Viñedo

Albillo Real del pueblo de San Martín de Valdeiglesias. Varios viñedos pequeños con suelos graníticos, orientaciones diferentes y altitudes comprendidas entre los 650 y 750 m. Las viñas se encuentran dentro de una zona ZEPA (Zona de Especial Protección de Aves) y de la red Natura 2000. Viña de secano, con formación en vaso y cultivada de forma tradicional.
