Pale Cream Sherry
Pale Creams are light fortified wines. With a notable tangy taste, they’re smooth and slightly sweet, obtained from a Fino or a Manzanilla to which concentrated must has been added. Along with Medium and Cream, this is a type of traditional Sherry, the source of close commercial links between Jerez in Andalucía and the United Kingdom over many centuries. It’s a fairly recent addition to the Sherry family, taking its name in English from the long-standing connection and picking up on its pale colour and creaminess. On the sweet spectrum, it’s ideal to serve with pâtés and juicy fresh fruit. As you might expect, we’ve some splendid examples here at Vinissimus.
