San Román Bodegas y Viñedos

Bodegas San Román (Maurodos) is, to put it another way, Bodegas Mauro in the Toro denomination. Mariano García (Bodegas Mauro, Aalto) started this project in 1995, with vineyards of mainly Tinta de Toro grapes (90%) but also Garnacha, in Pedrosa del Rey, Villaester and San Román de Hornija.

NOTE: The vineyards with which Bodegas y Viñedos Maurodos work, both their own and those of collaborating winegrowers, have organic certification . However, even though all the wine comes from organic grapes and vineyards, certification is not used for any of the wines.
