Il Colombaio di Santa Chiara

The Colombaio di Santa Chiara is at the top of a whole family. These are the Logi, in San Gimignano. A solid and united family that has recovered vineyards, soils and even a beautiful village near the historic centre of the hundred towers. The brothers Giampiero, Stefano and Alessio have started an all-round project on wine, in which wine tourism and accomodation play a central role.

The vineyards, which reach an altitude of 400 metres and offer breath-taking views of San Gimignano, are conducted in a certified organic system. Without a doubt, the Logis are responsible for the relaunch of this extraordinary Tuscan white, with a style that, at Colombaio, is clean and straight, just perfect to imbibe it with a filter-less territoriality of a wine that by its nature mineral and long-lived.

Selvabianca is fresh and vertical, the youngest and most drinkable Vernaccia, which enhances the strong and straight character of the grape. More refined and complete is the Campo della Pieve, multifaceted and deep, coming from the best vineyard. The reserve, Albereta, is opulent and elegant, capable of infinite evolution.
