Château de Nages

Syrah is the variety Château de Nages cultivate the most; Grenache is grown on the poorer soils which balances this grape's natural exuberance; Mourvèdre brings a surprisingly spiced complexity to the wines; some of the vineyards grow Roussanne for the white wines to which it confers a splendid aromatic richness; finally, the Grenache Blanc is used to round off coupages, or blends, with its crystalline mineral imprint.
