Champagne Pannier
Located in the Marne valley, with magical wine cellars carved out of a Medieval stone quarry, Maison Pannier has an excellent reputation for the quality and creativity of its champagnes. Champagne Pannier vinfiy four different yet complementary cuvées, specializing in the production of rosés with fleshy, powerful and aromatic characters. Praised year after year by international wine juries, their limited-production champagnes are widely sought after by high-class hotels and restaurants around the world.
In their quest for producing top quality champagne, Champagne Pannier entrusted the delicate and decisive key task of creating blends to their skilled Chef de Cave, Philippe Dupuis, for the last 37 years. In 2020, he passed the role on to Yann Munier, giving him the records of the Maison's wine history to guarantee the transmission of his experience and know-how. Together with the excellent team at Pannier, they have created an elegant range of top quality champagnes with a style focused on the dominant presence of red grapes (Pinot Noir and Pinot Meunier), balanced with a strong contribution of Chardonnay.
The winery's collection includes wonders like the Pannier Rosé Velours de Champagne, produced from overripe grapes harvested only in exceptionally sunny years. This champagne offers a thrill for all the senses, from the time you run your fingers over the bottle label to the last lingering taste in the mouth, like a velvet caress on your palate. Another excellent wine is their Champagne Pannier Brut Sélection, a fresh and long brut champagne, whose aromas of white flowers, citrus fruits and brioche make it ideal to enjoy as an aperitif. A classic example of Champagne, it is comparable to legendary brands such as Moët & Chandon, Ruinart, and Taittinger. The winery also creates other classic champagnes including Champagne Pannier Blanc de Blancs, a smoother drink and also a splendid aperitif, and stronger-tasting cuvées like Champagne Pannier Blanc de Noirs and Champagne Égérie de Pannier, two more examples of the treasures that await us.
