Zuccardi Polígonos San Pablo Cabernet Franc

There is a big jump in quality in the 2017 Polígonos San Pablo Cabernet Franc. The wine feels livelier and has more depth, balance and youth, with strong varietal aromas of freshly cracked black peppercorns and aromatic herbs. The palate shows very good balance and elegance, nuanced and fresh. Maybe Cabernet Franc suffers in wetter years like 2016, as this 2017 is clearly superior. 3,300 bottles produced.

Medium dark crimson. So utterly fragrant – dark red fruit, graphite and a touch leafy/capsicum but fully ripe. Juicy and so fresh and full of energy. Terrific freshness, light tannins and light overall but so scented. Very fine tannins. Light but long.
