The wine
Wrongo Dongo is definitely a wine that breaks with the traditional image of wines from Jumilla. This is exactly what Jorge Ordóñez intended when he this brand: a lively young wine, with surprising freshness and elegance, which first reached the European market as the 2006 vintage. (Jorge Ordóñez is known for his great achievements as a wine importer into the United States and his first vintage, the 2003, and others until 2005 were sold exclusively to the North-American market with great success.)
An intense cherry colour, the nose exhibits aromas of ripe fruit with sweet and spicy notes. On the palate, the wine comes over as balanced and flavoursome.
