The wine
Launched onto the market back in the early 1980s, Viñaverde was a pioneer in Andalusia with regard to fruity white wines.
Principally made with such aromatic grapes as Pedro Ximénez, and Muscatel, apart from Torrontés and Verdejo, it is a wine for which harvesting comes early in order to accentuate the fruit freshness of the grapes, therefore making it an ideal choice for summer.
With moderate acidity, good balance and a low alcohol content, this is a fruity, elegant wine, very suitable for an uncomplicated, easy-style of drinking. A fleshy wine that is perfect for serving as an aperitif, or along with salads, rice dishes and mild cheeses.
