Villa Lanata Langhe Chardonnay

Chardonnay, a noble French grape with which the great white wines of Burgundy are produced and which contributes to the birth of the most prestigious Cuvée of famous Champagne, is also cultivated in Piedmont. The territorial proximity to the area of origin has meant that the Chardonnay grape arrived in Piedmont during the first half of the 19th century. The favorable climate, fresh and breezy, the beautiful hilly aspects and suitable soils have contributed to its success. It is a vine of great elegance, which offers white wines with fascinating aromas, with personality and character.

The Langhe Chardonnay of Villa Lanata has a bright straw yellow color; to the nose it expresses delicate and pleasant fruity and floral notes. The taste on the palate is intense and slightly full-bodied with a finish of tropical fruits and savory flavors. Perfect as an aperitif, it goes well with fish dishes, cold cuts, fresh cheeses, salads and summer menus.
