The wine
Made from grapes grown on pre-phylloxera vines, the wine appears a purple colour still, with intense cherry red tones. On the nose, aromas of ripe forest fruits mingle with high roast and mineral hints. Creating a variety of sensations on the palate, the wine is full-flavoured and meaty.
Aged for 18 months in French oak barrels. Subsequent repose in bottle for a further 18 months.
