The wine
Umani Ronchi San Lorenzo is a powerful red with an intense ruby red color. The nose offers delicious hints of black cherry alternating with fresh notes of mint, followed by nutmeg and black pepper. On the palate it is round and ripe, with a good tannic return. Very drinkable wine, persistent in the finish, one sip leads to another. To be enjoyed throughout the meal, it is excellent paired with stuffed pasta, grilled dishes, porchetta, game, braised meats, as well as a rich platter of seasoned and spicy cheeses.
