The wine
DOC Castel del Monte produced with Nero di Troia and Aglianico grapes grown in vineyards at 450 meters above sea level, with cold winters and not too hot summers. A classic ruby red color with a full and fragrant bouquet. Ruby red wine tending to garnet after short aging, it expresses a full and fragrant bouquet, delicately spiced with hints of berries. On the palate it is pleasant, full-bodied, harmonious, savory, and goes well with red meats, roasts, game, aged cheeses and salami.
