The wine
Monovarietal wine from Mencía from La Florida . Florida is an old vineyard with 60-80-year-old vines planted on clay soil with boulders, at an altitude of 600-700 m above sea level and with a steep slope. After manual harvesting, spontaneous fermentation takes place in stainless steel tanks. Aged for 12-14 months in French oak barrels and subsequent bottle rest.
Garnet color. On the nose great finesse, typical of Mencía, presents aromas of red fruits, spices and smoky touches. Oily on the palate, fresh meatiness and balanced set.
