The wine
A wine epitomising the house brand: good fruit content and toasty oak. A rounded, pleasant and powerful wine, made from Tinta de Toro grapes originating from three single estate vineyards with vines aged between 50 to 60 years old that are low-yielding and produce small clusters.
A very intense dark Picota cherry colour, almost opaque in appearance. The nose reveals a great intensity of black fruit, with menthol and toasted oak notes. Fruity on the palate and with toasty nuances, it exhibits good acidity, powerfulness and persistence.
Aged for 14 months in French oak barrels.
