The wine
A red wine made from a selection of grapes (100% Tempranillo) originating from the oldest vineyards. These are century-old vines growing in Pesquera de Duero, at an altitude of more than 900 metres. The production run for this wine is 19,000 bottles.
A ruby-garnet colour, the wine releases aromas of jammy fruit on the nose, with balsamic, high roast, liquorice, black olive and lactic notes. It is dry and balanced on the palate, with balsamic hints, and reveals mature tannins.
Matured for 24 months in French Allier oak barrels.
