The wine
No wonder that Pinot Bianco is the most extensively cultivated white grape of the San Michele-Appiano winery. The cool nocturnal fallout winds that descend from the Mendola chain together with gravelly soils with calcareous and slightly clayey content offer these grapes optimal conditions, to transform themselves into a fresh and balanced white wine, whose lively acidity invites you to drink. Flexible wine as an aperitif and as an accompaniment to dishes; exquisite with Mediterranean starters, fish, white meat, pasta and pizza as well as with light cheeses or, for example, with Tyrolean savory Tirtlen or krapfen.
