The wine

The Gewürztraminer has experienced a kind of renaissance in the past few years. The vine with its unmistakable reddish berries comes from the wine-growing village of Termeno and today is widespread in almost all the vineyard areas of the globe. Unlike many international Gewürztraminer, this one is dry vinified. This leads to a fruity-spicy type of wine, which is not easily forgotten. It is seductive for its aromatic fullness, pervaded by fine spicy notes of cloves and delicate rose hips. Extremely flexible wine, it is drunk well as an aperitif and is pleasant together with spicy and intense dishes such as chestnut ravioli with black truffles, shellfish and Tyrolean cheese dumplings.
