The wine
From an ancient family recipe the company produces Barolo Chinato, a Barolo-based flavored wine with the addition of aromatic herbs, among which the bark of cinchona Calissaia prevails. When tasted it has an intense garnet red color; on the nose there are evident hints of spices and aromatic herbs; the taste is sweet, velvety with a pleasantly medicinal aftertaste. Excellent at the end of a meal combined with a good dark chocolate.
