The wine
This wine is living proof of how Sangiovese is able to give different expressions of itself depending on the soil where it is grown, the different clones used and the type of vinification applied. The Chianti Classico Tenuta Sant'Alfonso is one of the historical wines of the company and one of the two prestigious Crus produced today with 100% Sangiovese grapes coming exclusively from the homonymous estate. Rich and pulpy with fruity hints of black cherry and blackberry and spicy notes of licorice and coffee and a harmonious and pleasant taste structure. On the table it perfectly accompanies tasty red meats or aged cheeses.
