The wine
This wine is a Picota cherry, garnet-red colour, with ruby hues. It releases intense aromas on the nose, highlighting toasty and spicy notes with hints of tobacco and black pepper, nuances acquired as a result of oak-ageing. The palate is ample, powerful and elegant, with a long and structured finish.
Aged for 18 months in French (70%) and American (30%) oak barrels, with a subsequent repose for a further 18 months in bottle.
