The wine
The Château Nénine property, renovated in the 1980s by the FOUQUET family, operates 13 hectares of vines. It is located due south on the gravelly hillsides which dominate the right bank of the Garonne at Baurech. The average age of the vines is 35 years. The terroir, located 100 meters high, dominates the Garonne valley. It is made up of serious ferruginous ochres and clay-limestone soils on a rocky bottom.
