What does this wine taste like?
Made from Tempranillo, a commonly used variety in the region, Portia Roble ages for just 3 months in oak barrels and maintains a clear and bright claret colour. Surprisingly intense and warm aromas delight the nose with notes of wild fruit such as blackberries, blackcurrants, and blueberries as well as toasted hints from the wood. It flows easily with a silky and balanced mouthfeel and well-integrated tannins. Nutty and toasted aromas come to the front with time.
