The wine
Chinuri with Skin is essentially the same wine as Chinuri but it undergoes a maceration with skin contact for a month. The rest of the process, from the alcoholic fermentation in qvevri with native yeasts to the nine months of ageing in the same container, is exactly the same. It's bottled without filtration or clarification.
On the nose, it exudes intense balsamic and white fruit aromas. On the palate, there's a repetition of the aromas detected in the olfactory phase, plus the occasional elegant vegetal note.
