The wine
Perelada 5 Fincas Reserva is a complex wine expressing the features of the different micro-climates, soils and grape varieties found in Empordà, a small wine appellation in north-east Catalonia, which stretches as far as the border with France. The Castillo de Perelada winery owns five estates here with a variety of soil types which ensure this Reserva is rich in nuances.
What does this wine taste like?
It reaches wine-lovers with an intense cherry red colour and splendid aromas of red fruit and spices, backed up by soothing herbal notes over a toasted background. Fresh, structured and balanced in the mouth, it also has a well-integrated and measured tannicity. A wine displaying an amazing personality and a wonderfully long after-taste.
