The wine
Pazo Señorans, a classic Albariño wine embodying the variety's qualities and the elegance of the Salnés Valley's sandy soils. The aromas and freshness of this splendid white wine express the closeness of the sea and the wonderful xabre soils so typical of the Rias Baixas area. This special sandy soil made from decomposed granite thanks to the high level of dampness in the region brings hints of minerals and floral notes to the wine.
What does this wine taste like?
With a medium level of intensity and a strong varietal character, Pazo de Señorans is a keen and lively wine in its youth. Timid and austere in its early years like the sea breeze and mineral waters so abundant in the region, it gains in complexity over the years. A combination of varietal notes of white fruit and flowers delight alongside freshly-cut grass, and subtle herbal and citrus hints.
A pleasant and smooth mouthfeel with a well-defined volume stretching from its entry to the retronasal aromas. Its most elegant vintages create almost ethereal wines in a wonderful expression of purity and elegance. A harmonious and gentle wine with freshness, a good degree of depth, mineral sensations and a dry finish.
