The wine
The Primitivo Passo del Cardinale from the Paololeo winery has an intense ruby red color; the nose is well pronounced a bouquet of black berried fruits, mainly cassis and black currant, with notes of licorice and coconut; it has an important and balanced center of the mouth, with velvety tannins, the right acidity and a persistent finish. Perfect to be enjoyed as an accompaniment to a rich grilled meat.
