A very decent general white wine which never fails

I've been buying Bornos for years, and it never fails as a really decent general purpose white wine - enough citrus and zing to keep everyone interested, but straightforward enough not to cloy. One of my sure-fire purchases, every year.

A great Spanish white wine

This is the first time that I purchased this Verdejo and I wasn't disappointed. I am a fan of Verdejo and enjoyed a glass on its own but it was great with lighter foods such as chicken and salads too. I will order this wine again.

Brilliant !!

Drinking BORNOS for circa 15 years now and always tastes good whether in Spain or back in Edinburgh.Can't buy it here so great to be able to buy direct.

Verdejo muy reconocible

Verdejo de corte tradicional. Reconocible al primer trago. Algo rústico y poco matizado, algo simple pero con mucha verdad, como el buen toreo clásico.

Crystal-clear, straw yellow in color with small greenish textures, with a good perlage. On the nose the bouquet of aromas is intense, of fine and varied quality. Notes of fresh flowers, scent of white and yellow-fleshed fruit reminiscent of Williams pears, rennet apples and marked hints of tropical fruit, closing with a hint of citrus. The sip is fresh, perfectly balanced in its components. Acidity and sweetness come together in unison giving pleasure to the palate thanks to a good persistence of the olfactory taste, reminiscent of a tropical fruit.
