The wine
Muri-Gries St. Magdalener is a pleasant and drinkable wine, with a dark and dense ruby red color. The olfactory profile shows a predominantly fruity bouquet, with notes of ripe cherry, plum and raspberry in the foreground, followed by a final trace of bitter chocolate. In the mouth it develops a full and juicy taste, with a clear and soft tannic structure. Appreciable young and velvety freshness; inviting and stimulating in the aftertaste. Excellent on roast beef, on South Tyrolean specialties such as bacon dumplings, but also on pizza and pasta.
