The wine
The history of the Klosteranger vineyard goes back to the eighteenth century. The beating heart of Muri-Gries: the vineyard characterized by the best terroir, protected by the ancient walls of the convent, in the heart of the historic district of Gries. Here the best Lagrein of the convent is born, the Gran Riserva, the "Vigna Klosteranger". Intense and impenetrable ruby red, the nose imposes itself with concentrated aromas of coffee and dark berries and a hint of blueberry. Complex and intriguing, it is confirmed on the palate with robust tannins, fresh, full, with great structure but at the same time delicate and elegant, wonderfully articulated and persistent.
