The wine
This 100% Lagrein wine is part of the classic line of the Muri-Gries winery. Lagrein is an indigenous South Tyrolean grape variety, as well as the one mainly cultivated in this region, from which wines are produced which for several years have been receiving more and more favors.
It has a very intense garnet red color, while the nose is striking for its great elegance: notes of red and black berry fruits such as cherries, black cherries, blackberries ... On the palate it is full-bodied, enveloping, velvety and soft. The tannin is harmonious. It amazes for its freshness, it is an immediate and pleasant wine that goes well with red meat dishes, roasts, grills, game, and fillets with herbs.
