The wine
Muri-Gries Kalterersee Auslese is a structured and elegant wine with a light ruby red color. The olfactory profile appears very inviting: a pleasant mix of cherry and violet aromas, with a hint of yeast and a slight hint of hazelnut. The taste is equally fresh and denotes a ready-to-drink wine, with soft tannins and light notes of bitter almond in the aftertaste. A wine to drink with friends, to combine with a traditional South Tyrolean snack based on speck, sausage and cheese. Also excellent with pizza and pasta and with all traditional dishes of South Tyrolean cuisine (such as bacon dumplings and capuccio salad).
