The wine
Mount Langi Ghiran, in the Grampians region of Victoria, has long been considered one of the most important producers of Shiraz wines in the cool climates of Australia. Its Cliff Edge Shiraz always surpasses expectations, offering us a wine worth much more than its price indicates.
The presence of notes of blue flowers and peppery spices becomes clearer, enhancing the intense red and black cherries which dominate the palate. This is a supremely elegant wine with chewy tannins, subtle oak, and a fine acidity, leading to an incredibly long and balanced drink which delights fans of Mount Lagi Ghiran wines.
