The wine
Michele Chiarlo's Barbaresco Asili is a fascinating and characterful wine. At sight it has a garnet red color with bright reflections, the scent is broad and ethereal, with notes of violet, red fruits and very fine spices. The sip too is broad, silky enveloping of surprising length. Ideal in combination with risotto with porcini mushrooms, roast pork and lamb chops.
