Marchesi di Barolo Barolo Cannubi
2018Spec sheet
The wine
Ruby red color with garnet reflections. Intense bouquet with a clear hint of rose, vanilla, spices and toasted oak. Shaded the note of absinthe. Full and elegant taste, full-bodied, austere, with soft and enveloping tannins. Pleasant are the spicy and the woody note that blend perfectly. Barolo Cannubi reaches maturity 6 years after the harvest and the maturity plateau is between 6 and 25 years. It goes perfectly with the traditional egg pasta from the Langhe, the Tajarin, the meat ravioli, the red meat dishes, the boiled, braised and game. It is the ideal companion for sheep and goat tome and aged hard cheeses.
