The wine
The “semi-Crianza”, known as a “roble” in the Ribera del Duero, Pagos del Infante is a fresh and pleasant wine.
It is a very intense dark cherry colour, clean and bright in appearance, with a violet rim. On the nose, it displays aromas of medium intensity highlighting red fruit, ripe and fresh, with light toasty notes. Medium-bodied and having good acidity, it is fresh and lively on the palate, and concludes with a pleasant finish perfectly adequate in length.
Aged for 6 months in French and American oak barrels, with the rest of the time in bottle.
