The wine
Susumaniello is a native red grape variety of the Puglia region, grown mainly in the province of Brindisi. It owes its name to the fact that, especially in its first decade of life, it is very productive, so much so that it is loaded almost disproportionately with bunches of grapes, just like a "donkey". With a still young ruby color, with purple features, Garrisa on the nose reveals a heterogeneous bouquet, both fruity, with notes of raspberry, cherry and morello cherry, and more evolved and complex, with hints of liqueur, rhubarb and leather. With a good pulp, in the mouth it is soft, elegant, balanced, with a silky tannin and a long finish with hints of freshness.
