The wine
A carbonic maceration wine made from Priorat-grown grapes of the Cariñena, Tempranillo, Garnacha Tinta and Syrah varieties. It is quite unusual to find this type of wine being produced in the Catalan regions, and more frequently it is the star turn of the Tempranillo in Rioja and Toro wines, or else the prerogative of the Listán Negro grape found in the Canary Islands.
This one has a typically fruity character. The predominant aroma on the nose highlights strawberries with lactic undertones, whilst on the palate it is rounded, fresh, nicely smooth and very pleasant.
