The wine

The launch of their new Vinos de Pueblo range is the start of a new stage for Legaris. With this collection of wines, the winery, located in Curiel de Duero, goes even deeper into the complexity and diversity of the best Ribera del Duero terroirs.

La Aguilera contains the intense character of the Burgos village of La Aguilera in every bottle. Old bush vines, over 50 years old, growing in two plots, each measuring less than a hectare in size, are used to make a limited production of around 2,000 bottles using native yeasts. The resulting wine has a spicy personality and aromas of black fruit which offer a soothing warm sensation. A well-structured wine, also ideal for laying down.
