Wine critics reviewsReviews by Parker

I like the reductive profile of the white 2020 Laventura Malvasía, produced with Malvasía Riojana (Alarije/Subirat Parent) grapes from old, dry-farmed vines in Leza at 500 meters in altitude on limestone soils. It fermented in concrete egg, where it matured for 12 months. This has 13% alcohol and a medium body and is very tasty and sapid, with a salty touch in the finish. It's not exuberant, more austere and flinty with a pH of 3.4 and a dry, long finish. He picked these after the red. 999 bottles were filled in August 2021.
