The wine
A dark cherry-red colour and dense, this wine has an intense nose, revealing aromas of ripe fruit with spicy notes and nuances from oak-ageing. Elegant and flavoursome on the palate, it displays mature tannins.
Matured for 18 months in French and American oak barrels, and afterwards for a further 18 months in bottle.
