The wine
The Gran Reserva 904 is probably the winery's best wine. A wine with an excellent quality-price ratio, a Tempranillo and Graciano coupage, with four years of ageing in American oak. A wine of great balance, very seductive, another great classic only produced in the best vintage years.
In 1904, Don Alfredo Ardanza, one of the founders of the initial enterprise and owner of Bodegas Ardanza, proposed the union of both companies. To celebrate this, a very special wine was launched onto the market which was called Reserva 1904 then, but it would become the precursor of the current Gran Reserva 904.

The winery
La Rioja Alta
La Rioja Alta is one of Rioja's historic wineries, creator of such emblematic brands as Viña Ardanza, Viña Arana, Viña Alberdi, Gran Reserva 890 and Gran Reserva 904.
