The wine

El La Casona de la Vid 5V 2020 is a red wine from Castile and León, produced by Lagar de Isilla from a blend of Syrah, Cabernet Sauvignon, Tempranillo, Grenache and Merlot, which gives it a complex and balanced personality.

With an attractive, intense, clean and bright cherry red colour, on the nose it displays a high aromatic intensity where ripe red and black fruits stand out, notes of liquorice, floral nuances and a balsamic background with subtle spicy touches. On the palate, it is structured but easy to drink, with pleasant tannins, well-integrated freshness and a richness of flavours that make it complex and enveloping. With 15% alcohol and careful vinification, this wine is ideal for pairing with red meats, roasts, aged cheeses and traditional stews, offering an intense and pleasurable experience with every sip.
