The wine

Entity is an elegant syrah true to the Barossa character. Traditional low-intervention winemaking techniques were employed on Entity, allowing the wine to be approachable in its youth, but with a very ample structure and depth that show great potential for improvement in bottle, in good storage conditions, of at least 10-12 years.

Wine critics reviewsReviews by Parker and Jancis Robinson

Bursting with blueberry and blackberry fruit, Duval's 2019 Entity Shiraz looks to be a winner, cut from the same cloth as the 2018. Vague hints of peppery spice and violet-laced florals add complexity on the nose, while the medium to full-bodied palate is ripe, supple and mouthwatering, with an almost crisp edge to the cocoa-dusted finish.

A vivid and vibrant inviting nose with rose petal, crushed mulberries and subtle stalky smokiness. Rounded with finely tuned tannins that pepper your mouth with rich dark forest fruits on the smoke-tinged salty finish.
