The wine
On the nose, the 2016 Cabernet Sauvignon Inglenook opens with a very concentrated and aromatic freshness of black cherry and blackberry. In the background, scents of garrigue, lavender, thyme and bay leaf emerge and develop complexity. On the palate, the wine is superbly balanced to the point that it is difficult to identify the individual aromatic components, although the blackcurrant bud and blackberry are revealed. The fine, polished tannins intertwine in harmony with the oak and present an underlying firmness that lingers in a long and persistent aromatic finish.
