The wine
The Borrigiano has a lively ruby red color with purple reflections. Its aromas are intense with notes of fresh red fruit reminiscent of cerasa cherry. Its complexity is emphasized by hints of spice typical of ginger and white pepper. The tannins are elegant and leave the mouth clean and in harmony.
Borrigiano is perfect for aperitifs served at a slightly cooler temperature but is also offered to accompany the foods of the Tuscan poor cuisine such as bread-based soups (ribollita, pappa al pomodoro). It can also be paired with fresh and slightly aged cheeses as well as with all not too complex meat dishes.
