The wine
Vall Llach produces this wine using grapes originating from very old vines, some a hundred years old, belonging to selected estates, owned by vine growers who have been working with the Porrera company since its foundation. This relationship with the farmers and their inherited traditions and customs has resulted in Celler Vall Llach identifying this wine, Idus, with the effort and originality in cultivating these lands. Inside the winery, an exhaustive monitoring of each and every production process is carried out, in order to ensure that when we talk about Idus, we know it’s an authentic terroir wine.

The winery
Celler Vall Llach
Celler Vall Llach was founded at the beginning of the 1990s by the singer Lluís Llach and the notary Enric Costa in the town of Porrera, opting for a controlled micro-production of their estates and “trossos” (century-old vineyards), and looking for quality over and above quantity.
