The wine

Made from the oldest vineyards of the Matapozuelos term dating from 1900 to 1950. Pre-phyloxers, located between the Adaja and Eresma rivers. Traditional pruning system in glass, shelter work is carried out. They are poor lands in organic matter. Sandy soils. Manual harvest, fermentation with native yeasts and subsequent aging in the underground cellar for a minimum of 6 months.

White wine, clean and bright. Visually yellow-straw color with greenish reflections. Medium intensity. The nose has a range of quite complex and structured aromas. We find spicy and woody aromas. Highlights the mineral background that provides a very elegant hue. Balsamic wine, with memories of resin and citrus like orange peel. In the mouth it has a round entrance. With a balanced acidity and bitterness that lengthens persistence in the mouth. Glyceric and unctuous. In the retronasal the typical aniseed Verdejo.
