The wine
The Gran Enemigo Chacayes Single Vineyard is another of the exceptional Cabernet Francs made by the idealists at Bodega Aleanna, using grapes from the stony alluvial soils in the Chacayes area.
The prestigious magazine Wine Advocate awarded it 96 points on the Parker ratings. It has a deep ruby-red colour, an intense freshness, and its aromas of blackcurrants, blueberries, violets, liquorice and minerals delight the nose. In the mouth, it is a well-defined wine with character and body. Energetic and lively, the Chacayes is definitely another stroke of genius from Adrianna Catena and Alejandro Vigil.
